Look at your chairs differently–they are more than functional pieces to keep you from hovering over a desk. Mixing up a chair’s assumed purpose shows a confident designer.
As an example, a mid-century table is given a glamorous take when paired with a chair that has more curves than a 50s starlet. Accentuate the room with bold art, a chandelier to inspire the surrealists, and simple vases that play off the chair’s sinuous shape and color.
The nail head detailing and tapered legs of this “London Chair” by Erinn V Maison show its refined lines. In classic navy, it’s sophisticated, yet the neutral color can fit into any setting. Chairs are also easily movable and can adjust to your living needs as they change.
